I must say, there is a beautiful balance in color and a lovely perspective in this shot. There is also an interesting, though very subtle balance between life and death, as shown by the logs floating in the water underneath the still leafy trees.

Also the house in the distance with the tree over it adds to the overall serene beauty of the scene. The whole picture has a nice organic and just plain alive feel, which is something that is lacking in a lot of pictures I've seen.
